Both Dan and Marilyn and been very active in the Faith Based Dorm since its inception on April 22, 2002.  Marilyn has been in charge of the mentoring program which grew to 56 volunteers coming into the prison twice a month to share with the 128 men assigned to the dorm.  In addition, she has volunteered in the Chapel office, handled all the administrative duties and scheduled programming for the Faith Based initiative.  Marilyn also assists Dan in teaching the program Experiencing God every Tuesday evening in the dorm.

Dan is a Volunteer Chaplain at this facility and helps Chaplain John Hope in the daily functions of the Chapel.  He also conducts a Spanish Service every Wednesday morning.  Over 50 individuals have come to know the Lord at this facility in both the Faith Based Dorm and the Spanish Services.
